Data Collection

Quick Markdown Panel does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.

Local Storage

All user notes are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's local storage API. No data leaves your device. No data is sent to external servers or third parties.

Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions:

storage - Required to save your notes locally on your device so they persist between browser sessions.

sidePanel - Required to display the extension's side panel interface on the right side of your browser.

No Tracking

We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, cookies for tracking, or any external third-party services.

Your Data Control

You have complete control of your notes:

• Delete notes anytime
• Export notes as markdown files (.md)
• Download individual notes
• Uninstall the extension at any time to remove all data from your device

Third Parties

Quick Markdown Panel does not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third parties under any circumstances.
